Sales Associate

If you already have your real estate license, then NIA National Realty, Inc. and our Sales Associate role may be right for you. With properties and expertise throughout northern New Jersey and parts of New York, NIA National Realty specializes in commercial real estate brokerage (e.g. office space, industrial, retail), investment properties and property management.
Founded in 1986 by our President, Roger Gross, NIA has 6 employees and we’re growing. As a “boutique” firm, we’re able to give our clients (and you!) personal attention from our senior staff while maintaining a solid command of our active market.
In 2017 we conducted over 200 transactions with just three sales people and we’re looking for another confident, resourceful, sales professional with a commitment to prospect and build their own portfolio. All our sales associates gain valuable industry experience and support from our expert professionals. You’ll be paired with a mentor who will work with you to establish your business and help you see results.

Responsibilities

Evaluating property pricing and value for leasing, sales and investment opportunities.

Building relationships, closing and following up with existing and new clients that are sourced from inquiries, warm and cold-calling.

Leading property tours as needed.

Conducting regular meetings with other professionals including developers, appraisers, property owners, landlords and brokers.

Supporting senior brokers as needed, including drafting exclusive agreements, commission agreements, offer letters, and contracts.
Qualifications

A NJ real estate license.

Up to 3 years in the residential or commercial real estate business.

Examples of strong customer service skills.

Comfortable prioritizing time and adapting to a fast-paced, changing environment.

Familiarity working with new technology, Microsoft Office suite, and specialized listing services.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Real Estate and excellent academic credentials, Experience with investment properties and property management.
